We have three different room types; Classic, Superior and Deluxe - each uniquely allowing for a memorable break in the Suffolk countryside.

Each of our bedrooms have a focus on comfort and relaxation in the Suffolk countryside. Across each of our rooms you will find air conditioning and underfloor heating in the bathrooms alongside high-speed WiFi, Smart Televisions with Chromecast and Nespresso machines to enjoy tea or coffee in your room.

CLASSIC ROOMS

HAY WAIN

Named after one of John Constable’s most famous paintings, our first-floor classic bedroom Hay Wain has the distinguishable feature of an original timber beam across the bedroom. Hay Wain also includes a king sized bed and shower-over-bath.

FLATFORD

Named after Flatford Mill and one of John Constable’s most well-known paintings, our first-floor Classic bedroom Flatford has an en-suite with a shower-over-bath and a king sized bed.

GAINSBOROUGH

Named after the famous Suffolk born artist, Thomas Gainsborough, this first-floor Classic bedroom has a king sized bed and an en-suite with shower. 

STOUR

Eponymous to the beautiful River Stour which runs through the Dedham Vale, our first-floor Classic bedroom Stour includes an en-suite with shower and a king sized bed.

CONSTABLE

Named after John Constable, Suffolk’s most famous artist, this first-floor classic bedroom offers a luxury space. Enjoyed as a double or a twin it also includes a shower-over-bath.

EYKE

Eyke is a Saxon word meaning ‘oak’ and the name of a beautiful Suffolk village. This ground floor classic bedroom is located in our stable annexe, which is a few steps across the beautifully landscaped gardens and is also a beautiful heritage building. Eyke offers a private en-suite with a shower over the bath, where it can be enjoyed as a superking or a twin.   

SUPERIOR ROOMS

MUNNINGS

Named after Alfred Munnings, the Suffolk artist, our first-floor Superior bedroom Munnings has an en-suite with roll top bath, jack-and-jill sinks and a freestanding shower.

CORNFIELD

Named after one of John Constable’s paintings, the ground floor superior bedroom Cornfield, which is located in our stable annexe, another beautiful heritage building which is just a few steps across the beautifully landscaped gardens. Cornfield offers a private walk-in shower and a unique display of exposed wooden beams. 

TYE

Tye is a word meaning a medieval green or field - an historic Suffolk place name. The ground floor superior bedroom Tye which is located in our stable annexe, which is a few steps across the beautifully landscaped gardens and is also a beautiful heritage building. Tye offers a private ensuite with a roll top bath and a walk in shower, and generous wardrobe space.

DELUXE ROOMS

WOLSEY

Named after Cardinal Wolsey, who was born in Suffolk and rose to be Henry VIII’s Chancellor, our deluxe bedroom Wolsey is located on the first floor in our stable annexe, which is a few steps across the beautifully landscaped gardens and is also a beautiful heritage building. Wolsey offers a variety of unique key features including switchable smart glass located next to the bath to give privacy when needed. Wolsey displays exposed wooden beams while also giving the luxury of a private, separate shower room. 

SPIRE

With a view of St Mary’s church tower, our deluxe bedroom Spire is located on the first floor in our stable annexe, which is a few steps across the beautifully landscaped gardens and is also a beautiful heritage building. Spire offers a variety of unique luxury features including switchable smart glass located next to the bath to give privacy when needed. Spire also displays exposed wooden beams while also giving the luxury of a private, separate shower room.
