(“we”, “us”) and while we endeavour to keep this information up to date and correct we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place upon such information is strictly at your risk.

Our privacy policy applies to usage of our site https://angelinnsuffolk.co.uk/ (“our site”) and details the personal data that we collect from you; that is provided to us, or processed by us. Please read this information carefully as it sets out our practices regarding your personal data and how the law protects you.

Your acceptance in full of this privacy policy is assumed and deemed to occur on your first visit to our site. If you do not accept this policy you must cease use of our site immediately.

From time to time we may change or update our privacy policy by updating this page. You should check this page to ensure you are happy with any updates or changes made. This policy is effective from 31st of March 2022.

Personal Data

You may be asked to provide us with personal information while you are in contact with us. This personal information is information that can be used to identify or contact you. You do not have to provide us with the data that we request, however, should you choose not to, we may not be able to provide you with the services you request.

In the event that we combine personal data with non-personal data, it will be treated as personal data for as long as it remains combined. Personal data does not induce data where the identity has been removed (Anonymous Data).

Information we may collect and how it is used

When making a booking on our site we may collect certain information about you and any other person included on your booking. This sort of personal data will include information such as name, address, email address, phone number, car registration number, demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests and information relevant to customer surveys and or offers. We use this information to arrange your holiday accommodation with us and provide any other services that you have chosen to request at the time of booking. This data is then processed through our third party data holder who specialises in your booking management.

If you make a purchase from us, then your credit or debit card details are provided. This information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors who specialise in secure online capture and processing of credit or debit card transactions. 

We may also collect some of the following data from you:

Information that is provided by filling out a form on our site (https://angelinnsuffolk.co.uk/) this includes information provided to us when making a booking online, subscribing to a service or requesting further services that are offered throughout our site, this many include opt in services that require personal information from you, by doing so you are sharing this information with us on the basis that you have read and agree with our privacy policy. 

If you contact us, we may keep a record of this correspondence and if you contact us by telephone we may monitor phone calls for training purposes.

If you subscribe to our email newsletters we may collect your email address. You have the option to opt-out of this service at any point in time. 

We may ask you to complete surveys in order to improve our service or for research purposes, this is an optional exercise and it is not a requirement that you respond to them. When doing so we will make it clear what this data is being used for and how it will be processed. 

We may collect details of your visits to our site including but not limited to; traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access. 

We may collect information known as usage data about your computer, including, where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type and version, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths. As well as information about the length of time, frequency, and pattern of your site usage. This usage data may be analysed through our use of Google Analytics or other analytical tools, which allows analysis of this data in order to help us improve aspects of our site and services it provides.

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To improve the functionality of the website.

  • To process a booking.

  • To provide you with information, products and services that you request from us and provide information which we feel may interest you.

  • For dealing in entries into a competition.

  • To seek your views or comments on the services we provide.

  • To send communications which you have requested or that may be of interest to you.

  • For our internal purposes, this includes statistical purposes, quality control and site performance and evaluation.

  • To enable you to participate in interactive features of the site.

  • To notify you of changes to our service.

Your personal data 

We have in place appropriate measures to ensure the protection of your data and to prevent it from being accidentally lost, used or accessed by unauthorised individuals, altered or disclosed. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. 

We have in place measures to deal with a suspected data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

  • Suppliers, providers and subcontractors (which may include housekeepers) for the performance of any contract we enter into with them.

  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us with the improvement and optimisation of our site.

  • Where we have your express or implied consent to do so.

If we are under any obligation to disclose your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to protect the rights of Suffolk Country Inns Ltd, our customers, guests, staff or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

We require all third-parties to respect the security of your data and treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third party service providers to process your data for their own purposes and only to utilise it to fulfil our set instructions.

Unfortunately the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and while we will do our best to protect your personal data we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. To get a better idea of our users interests we have implemented Google Analytics Advertising features  (Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting).

You can opt-out of Google Analytics Advertising and customise Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings. In addition, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on to disable tracking by Google Analytics. We will use the data provided by Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to further develop the site for our users.

Your rights

Right to object to data processing: You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time or by opting out of email marketing communications via email communication sent from us. Upon receipt of such notification we will cease processing your personal data and (if requested by you) erase such information if we are not required to retain it for legitimate business or legal purposes. 

Right to access: You have the right to request access to information we have held about you. We will provide you with a copy of this data free of charge (provided that this request is not excessive or for multiple copies, in which case there may be a charge covering the costs). You may also request certain information about the processing of this data (if not directly collected from you by us). You also have the right to request that your data is transferred to a third party.

Right to restrict processing: You may ask us to suspend the processing of your data in the following circumstances:

  • Where we are found to be processing unlawfully but you do not want us to erase your personal data
